Are you running IIS.? You can't run both Apache and IIS on port 80. Did you
put php.ini in the Windows directory and php4apache in \windows\system32?

You don't need to install the library. You must be trying to point to
your MySQL libraries in your configure line. Just drop the --with-mysql
switch entirely and PHP will compile with its built in MySQL client.

Alright, I admit it. I'm a newbie with both Linux and PHP. How do you
install the .patch files on a Linux server? I've tried it by logging in as

./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs=/path/to/apxs --with-ldap=/usr
These are the error messages :

9.0, while configure, it fails in "Cofiguring
Extensions". The error is gcc does not support -R
option.
Is there any solution available.
