I don't know what to do with libiconv to build php4.3.3.
My libiconv-1.9 is installed in /opt
if I invoke configure --with-iconv=/opt the script runs fine but I
get the following message at compile time:
gcc: /usr//lib/.libs/libiconv.so: No such file or directory
gcc: /opt//lib/.libs/li

also experienced that yesterday. i think there's a problem with the first
release of the 4.3.3 installer. try to download the installer again then
reinstall. it's already working fine for me both for IIS 5 and Apache 2.0.47.
