[PHP-INST] PHP with Manadrake

hi, I would like to install PHP 2.4.1 on a Manadrake 8.1 ( packaged Linux) , apache is installed directly from Mnadrake CD and is working. In this Linux , apache (httpd) is installed in /usr/sbin All php files are in /usr/local/php-4.2.1 .Configure --prefix=/usr/sbin does not terminate.

[PHP-INST] getting started problems

there's something wrong with my php setup that i can't pin down. i'd be most grateful for any advice. i am running: FreeBSD 4.4-RELEASE #1. from the ports collection i have installed apache, mod_ssl and, more recently, mod_php4. on start, my apache logs says: Apache/1.3.20 (Unix) PHP/4.0.6

[PHP-INST] PHP 4.2.1 as CGI with GD 2.0.1
