(Should it be zlib instead of zblib?)
But there seems no effect. The following error is still there:

It has been days and many attempts to install PHP on Linux RedHat 7.1.
I've tried RPMs and compiles to no avail. Can please someone help?
Here is the latest documentation steps I've tried:
cd apache_1.3.23
./configure
cd ../php-4.1.2
./configure --with-mysql --with-apache=../apache_.1
Thanks, Matt, for trying to give me hand. I didn't use the AddModule
command, because I thought it was only used for DSO modules. When I went
ahead and tried to use it, it does complain about LoadModule not being
invoked, so I took this as further evidence that AddModule was just for
dynamic modul
Forget it. I got the problem resolved. httpd conf file needed to
be checked over.

You should be able to run configure using --with-zblib. and this will
work.

I am getting a strange error message after installing PHP as a module and I cannot
find any help on this topic.
