any PHP scripts via my browser. My Apache server knows that I have PHP
installed, as per the output of my error_log, when I start my Apache

anyone else with this problem? I have libmcrypt-2.4.15 + mcrypt-2.5.5 and
I hav this options specific for mcrypt in my configure wrapper
--with-mcrypt=/usr
The libmcrypt-config shell script is in the /usr/lib, the same directory
where the .a and .so libraries are. And I'm getting this:

thank to all those who replied -- in my frustration, i called earthlink tech support a
fourth time, and was told, "your account does not support PHP. the other guys
shouldn't have told you that it does." so that was pretty upsetting.

Try to rename it to .php .. see what happens.. Perhaps they forgot to add
.php3 to their apache config file.

I've just installed the php module 4.0.5 on a raq.
This raq was already running ihtml and mysql successfully.
After installing the php module any request to the database using ihtml
doesn't work.
if I don't loadmodules php4 in my http.conf then ihtml works again.

quite frustrating--i've recently set up a domain with earthlink. i have tried
uploading the file below (phptest.php3), but when i read it in netscape 4 (mac), it
loads as though it were a text file (all PHP/HTML tags unprocessed), and in explorer
