Chuck,
I've been a Homesite zealot for several years now. I LOVE 4.5. 5.0 (at least
the very first release of it) was a piece of crap. I crashed more than it
ran on my Win98 box. I would install it on my new Win2k box (same box but I
bit the bullet and bought the upgrade) but now I have to ask

What exactly are you looking for? I think that syntax coloring is
automatic for any file with a .php file extension since Homesite 4.
If you are looking for the PHP Manual formatted for HS or an expression
builder, check out:

Yep,
As far as I know, it's not recommended by Allaire themselves to use Design
mode with PHP/ASP unless you want it to muck around with your code, only for
pure HTML.

Hi,
I'm using homesite 4.5.1 and I've not had the problem you describe.
However, since I use a remote server, when I have a php page up, and go to
design view, funny things do happen. I just don't go there anymore.

As far as I know there's no such application. We are using WinCVS for the
same purpose. I would be interested if you come accross some application
that would this though.
