We do this sort of thing in, basically, one of three ways...
1. Client gives us a budget and we give them a clear idea of what that
budget will get them.
2. Client gives us a good idea of what they want to achieve

I have never charge by the page simply because I don't want to be
limited in my design. Also, I don't want them saying I've added unneeded
pages to up the price.
I don't know how you would charge by the script since you should be
using object oriented code. Wouldn't this be similar to charging
