What you have is fine, but I think (I don't do it that way) this means each
user will have completely separate code. That might be A Good Thing, or you
might be the only user anyway.
An alternative is to use /Library/WebServer/Documents/
Any pages placed there can be called with either 127.0.0.1/y
I'm not sure if we're on the same wavelength, but this might help you.
I recently installed Apache, PHP and MySQL as part of a preconfigured
package from "Apache Friends" (XAMPP). The entire suite was installed at
C:/xampp, and the Apache folder is at C:/xampp/apache/
