I agree with Angie's sentiments. There is no need at all to put the dlls in
your system directory (although php will still work if you do) as long as
phpts.dll is in the same directory as the main php executable or dll. This
means php.exe for cgi, php4apache.dll for Apache module etc.

Acutally, I spoke with the main developer of the windows binary at the PHP conference
in San Diego.he suggested that it is a better practice to put those dll's in the same
folder that php.exe is sitting in. He explained that php should still be able to find
them there and it's not good practic
