[PHP] MySql->PHP->Excel=french weird chars

he database to the excel file. The problem is that when I open the excel file I get this: é instead of this: é and the same thing for all the French accented chars. I've tried to save the data as acsv file too but I get the same problem. Does anyone have a solution? Many Thanks
