Try putting session_start() at the VERY beginning. Also try having the

Are those supposed to be the swedish characters and you get junk instead?
What does the header look like? Are you trying to have the email encoded in
UTF - 8? Are you sending out the mail with mail or mb_send_mail? Need a
few more details.

I think it is because the query ran successfully and returns an empty set.
