[PHP] PHP Session Idle Time

I'm writing a web application in which I would like the session to expire after a certain amount of idle time. I tried using the session_set_cookie_params function but that is time from session start. How would I go about doing idle time? Thanks Jefferson Cowart [EMAIL PROT
