Hello and welcome,
Yeah lots of programmers start programming willing to do video games. But a
few finish by really doing games...
When I was student (a year ago) I started to implement a game, and then I
switched and I am now working in compiler & virtual machines related stuff.
But recently I d

Hi all,
I am new here in this list. I have already asked this question in stack
overflow, but not much luck. So i thought ill contact the gurus directly.
I am considering Magma to be used for one of my projects , which is nothing
but a custom game center to connect my game and store user details
Hello,
Is it possible to use Magritte3 with Seaside? (I am using Seaside 3.1).
Thanks!
Hello All.
I have gone through the SUnit chapter in the PBE book.
I tried to do the same but the test runner doesn't seem to recognize the test.
I have noticed there are grey circles next to tests in other packages which is
not the case in my test. There is nothing significant about the other c
Mohammad ,
If you subclass from TestCase and prefix your test methods with 'test', as in
testPrinting they should be recognised.

Yes it is. Don't know about 3.1 I'm using 3.0.8 but I don't see much reason why
it shouldn't work.

Thanks.
I really do not feel like creating a ton of boilerplate code when such a
tool exists...

Hi Thushar
I do not know if magma is working on Pharo. Now I suggest you to have a look at
MongoDB and MongoTalk.
Because this is what the people around are using. You have also voyage that
serialize object described with magritte in mongotalk.
Now we should write some docs, but it would be bet
Is there any such project available?

Hi Thushar,
Magma's developer mostly uses Squeak, so the latest version of Pharo
that Magma works more or less out-of-the-box on is 1.3.
I made a start on porting it to 1.4, and then 2.0 but then promptly
ran out of time. However, as far as I'm aware the porting should
mostly consist of the chang

Hi ,
@Stéphane Ducasse
I will definitely give mango DB a try. I was using GLORP since a very long
time (not in pharo) so when i looked at magma i got interested. So all
other options stayed back for later in my list.
@Stuart Herring
The changes as far as i know is related to SystemAnnouncer , F
