Hello All,
Are there any plans to get TelePharo working again? I've been checking
when each new version is released, but no luck so far. I haven't tried
version 12, because I assume it is not working. I'm thinking about a
project where it would be pretty cool to have TelePharo. Unfortunately,
Hi Guillermo,
Ah ok. I didn’t realize that I could only have a single statement. I got it
working now.
Thanks to you and everyone that helped me out.
Thanks,
Gerry

Hello All,
Pharo newbie here. I'm playing around with uFFI and I'm having trouble figuring
out how to provide a buffer to C. It looks like maybe ByteArray would be the
type, but it's not working. Would some one be so kind as to show me an example
with the C function gethostname?
Thanks,
Gerry
Hi,
I was reading about the VM stuff and assumed (wrongly) that the post applied to
that. Sorry for the noise.

Hi,
I saw a post with the title "Spur Cog vs VW". Has anyone done this yet? Is
there some code available somewhere that I could run? I have been searching on
Google, but I haven't found much. A pointer in the right direction would be
much appreciated. I'm really curious ;-)

for you?
We will check with Esteban if he can do some coding sessions with the OS you
mention.

Meanwhile, when you say crashing, do you mean that a debugger appeared, or that
the image completely quitted? Was it because of a code that you run, or was it
because of the interaction with tools?

Pharo 5 is the current release, and you should use this one :).
Do you have a specific scenario that we can use to reproduce the crashing
behavior?

Hello All,
I am new to Pharo and Smalltalk in general. I have been experimenting with
Pharo 5 trying to get acquainted with the environment and the language. I have
been having some issues with the image hanging and crashing. This happens when
trying code in the Play Ground and especially when
