I'm running postgrSQL 7.2 on a linux Red Hat 8.0 box with 2GB of RAM When I boot-up the system , this is the TOP situation: 11:59am  up 4 min,  1 user,  load average: 0.37, 0.26, 0.11 77 processes: 74 sleeping, 3 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped CPU states:  0.3% user,  0.7% system,  0.0% nice
