Is it desirable for me to build Solaris 8 SPARC packages (Solaris .pkg
format) of beta5?
I have experience in doing this.

FYI, I downloaded / compiled / installed beta5 and did a select version()
from psql and got:
template1=# select version();
version
PostgreSQL 7.1beta4 on i686-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by GCC eg
