Hi list,
I'm using Gambas to access a PG DB (only through views and functions)
and I can't find a way to escape my string to fit into a BYTEA field;
does anybody have an idea about this?

Hi list,
How could I transparently log an error where user miss a right,
I know how to write a RULE, but not this way:
ie:
* user don't have a direct access to tables but to procedures that
manipulates tables.
* He try to make a: SELECT * FROM table5
which normally returns: "ERROR: right

Hi list,
I've got to store many small videos; to make things simple (backup/restore,
because users don't know very much about IT) I've choosen BYTEA + EXTERNAL,
is it the right choice?

Hi list,
I plan to write an ERP program using Postgresql (with embedded
procédures) & Tcl/Tk for the GUI.
My question is: how can I recover each column value from an
embedded procedure that return a RECORD type?
Thanks in advance,
Jean-Yves
