Yeah, that would be the right place. This way I only have to provide this
one file...even can make it part of the installation process...

I also use Zope and PostGres intensively over 9 month on a production
system. It works really nice together. The PyGreSQLDA is not thread safe,
so you to be a little careful, but the new PoPyDA fixed all this and works
really nice. (I have not tried PoPy on production yet.)

PGDATESTYLE=SQL. Somehow the
same trick does not seem to work in the startup script (RedHat). I use BASH.

I know how to solve the issue using Python (the programming language I
use), but it would require N*log(N) update statements by average, which can
be very expensive, especially when many people run this code at the same time.
