used to be very expensive and has been around for a long time, but previously
known as just "Watcom" before it was upgraded to open source.

JDBC is part of the problem, but in the Apache James error logs there is
indication of MySQL connectivity problems (also during busy times on
systems sending approximately 500,000 eMai
