Install postgres on rhel 7

Hi Team, I have question on the postgres install process. Tried to read the archives but couldn't find it. I wanted to install postgres server via rpm and wanted to store the binaries under non default location like /pgbin. Please advise... Thank you

Hi Team...I am trying to setup some monitoring over the PostgreSQL server log. I am not clear which error I should be most concerned about. Could you please share your thoughts on what pattern I should search in the log file?
