We don't have any .info documentation. Why should the option work?

The pgsql-bugs mailing list is intended for bug reports about
PostgreSQL, not support requests.

We don't generally bother with updating every last version number until
we are branding the final release ... Bruce has a checklist of these
things, it won't get missed ...

This bug is still present in RC2.

Hmm. get_progname() should be getting linked in

I have a fix (stupid case omission in AcceptResult()) but I am having
some trouble reaching the CVS server right at the moment ...

In candiate release 7.4RC2 you still have
PG_VERSION "7.3"
PG_VERSION_STR "7.3 (win32)"
defined in pg_config.h.win32
Should be 7.4 ...

TIP 5: Have you checked our extensive FAQ?
http://www.postgresq
Hallo all,
after the compilation of 7.4RC2 went fine (it said
All of PostgreSQL successfully made. Ready to install.
;-) I gave an "make check". And this is what I got (after all messages about
what this command prepared, without errors or warnings btw):
/bin/sh ./pg_regress --temp-install --
I have been reading a lot about PostGreSQL but until now I haven't
found anything stating if the PostGreSQL database has any locking
mechanism. If so, could you send me anithing about this esue??
Thank you very
much!!!
Hello,
RC2 will not build on my Red Hat 8 server if a "infodir=something" is
added to the "./configure" command. - Even though the option is mentioned
when doing "./configure --help".
For various reasons, this makes PostgreSQL a bit more difficult to build
as an RPM.

Greetings from Troels Ar
So, I was logged on as postgres. but there is no
database called 'postgres' (or maybe I don't
understand the internals). Keep in mind that I am only
looking for understanding of the process... and I want
to make sure that doing this doesn't create problems
later.
