I'm seeing this bug from 1.10 version, or maybe earlier.
When you opened pgadmin, and sql window, and server restarted, execution of
sql asks if I want to reconnect, but it hangs anyway.
If I try to browse pgadmin tree, it detects that there's no server, ask If
I want to reconnect, and
I am running 1.14.2 on Win 7 64-bit. While debugging a network firewall
issue I noticed that everytime a pgadmin database connection is prematurely
reset (TCP RST) it hangs the application and it must be closed with task
manager.
This is caused by a firewall problem but it should just result in pg

Thank you. I've found your issue. We didn't deal well with empty strings
in the queries history file. It's now fixed in git.

I had the same problem. In my ~/pgadmin.log file was the following record.
2008-03-01 20:25:49 ERROR : can't open file
'/usr/share/mimelnk/application/vnd.adobe.pdx.desktop' (error 2: No such
file or directory)
It started work after deleting the invalid
'/usr/share/mimelnk/application/vnd.a

pgAdmin. Is it better ?
