Hi,
I downloaded 1.6.2 today, unzipped it, and then ran the upgrade.bat file since
I had
1.6.1 installed.
After rebooting the initial graphic that displays when opening pgadmin (same as
the
help->about graphic), still displays the version as 1.6.1
1.6.1 was installed as part of the postgresq
Hi Dave,
Rebooting did not help.
I will send you something directly.

In threadex.c
static void _callthreadstartex(void)
{
_ptiddata ptd; /* pointer to thread's _tiddata struct */
/* must always exist at this point */
ptd = _getptd();
/*

Should I just recreate the index and try to vacuum (full) again? I want to
assume it got corrupted during the original vacuum attempt.
I have been starting the vacuum from the database name level in pgadmin.

Hi,
I was running a manual vaccum through pgadmin 1.4.1 on a database and my
connection to the database was lost during it. I reconnected to the database,
went to Tools->Server Status->Log File and there is an entry that says:
"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unus
I noticed the mailing list mentions 1.3 is available. 1.3 does not appear
anywhere on the www.pgadmin.org downloads. Is it not officially available yet?
Waiting for 8.1 to be official?

The hex code of the offending character is 0641 (Arabic).
postgres 8.0.2 on XP Pro with (server?) encoding C and database encoding

Hi,
I read the faq about the problem where pgadmin won't display data if it cannot
convert the data due to an encoding issue.
I have a table created under Latin1. When doing a select * from that table and
exporting the results to a file pgadmin was dropping a row without warning.
That row wa
Sorry for the new post but yes removing the existing dll fixed it.
Thank you very much!

TIP 6: Have you searched our list archives?

Thanks,
I did find an older version of that dll in the system32 directory.
Reinstalling 1.2 after deleting it did allow the 1.2 installation program to
drop the newer version of that dll into the system32 directory.
I am on SP2.

Hi,
I upgraded to 1.2 from 1.02 today but it errors out when I try to launch it.
The error is: "The ordinal 2821 could not be located in the dynamic link

I uninstalled 1.02 before installing 1.2.
I had postgresql beta 3 installed so I uninstalled it and 1.2, then reinstal
