Have been looking on the internet, but have not found anything about
PGAdmin or Postgres database syncronization other the navicat which is
expensive. Is it possible to syncronizes two databases with PGadmin and
if so, can some one point me to the way to do it?

Is there any way to convert a text column to uppercase with pgadmin? I
can do it with Access, but it does not appear to work with a linked

I have pgadminIII running on WinXP with no problems. I am using Computer
Associates EZfirewall and have the WinXP firewall turned off. I also
had norton firewall at one time, an it worked with it, but I had to turn
off the winxp firewall.

Last Friday, I done a backup of a postgresql database on a linux server
and restored it to a server on Windows, all went fine. Now I try to do
the same thing, I get either a duplicate index item, where there is not
one, or the restore does not recognize the file as being valic archive.
