I think the above error occurs when installing a PostgreSQL server, and not
on pgAdmin installation.
If you want to install pgAdmin alone, you get the installer from here -
https://www.pgadmin.org/download/

I run a Mac with macOS Big Sur v 11.2.1.
I cannot get pgAmin 4 to install correctly.
I get the following message:
Problem running post-install step.
Installation may not complete correctly.
The database cluster failed.
