Thank you. I think the firefox ESR that I am using is the one that was
part of the debian bookworm set of packages. I'll look to see what is
required to get a newer firefox in debian.

A recent underlying package used by pgAdmin was updated, which removed
support for older versions. Firefox ESR 115 is quite old and is not
supported anymore. You could upgrade the version or switch to some other
browser (including Firefox standard).

I just upgraded to the latest pgadmin v8.11 .. I used pip to upgrade
pgadmin.
Now when I view or edit data in a table I am only shown the column names
and types -- no data, well almost.
I see the column defs vertically instead of horizontally. and if there are
only a small number of columns see 1
