Dear Hackers,
I have great respect for your efforts to continuously develop pgAdmin 4,
and it has certainly come a long way since version 1.0. Not to mention,
it’s free. Thank you for all your hard work.
All that said, I think making the new Workspace layout the default in v 9.0
was a regression
Can you describe a little about the workspace feature coming (I assume) in
9.0? Sounds exciting.

If I may add, please have pgAdmin display the total number of rows in the
result set regardless of pagination page size.

Hi, I'm trying out the new Query Tool functionality for executing a script
at the cursor position (very nice). However, I'm having trouble getting it
(or any commands) to work via keyboard shortcuts. I know I'm probably
missing something.
I'm on macOS, Sonoma. But same thing on another MAc running
I'm interested in testing the new functionality related to executing a
query at the cursor position. Has that been pushed to the main branch and
available in the snapshot builds?

Hi,
Does anyone on the EDB pgAdmin or PostgreSQL teams have a timetable for
when the Windows installer will include pgAdmin 4 7.5 and also fix the
issue where pgAdmin won't launch?
Thanks,
Anthony
Hi, folks,
I notice that there are Arm64 builds of the 7.4 app available in your
snapshot folders. The "official" release of 7.4 continues to be Intel. Any
issues to be aware of with the Arm64 builds?
Thanks!

Any ideas on system settings he might check?

This is a nice release. The graph visualizer is a very handy addition, as
is the automatic autocomplete. Thanks for the continual improvements.

Hi, dev team,
I'm surfacing to offer this minor patch to update the shutdown messaging in
the tray menu and various dialogs to use the two-word "shut down" when the
message context is a verb rather than the one-word noun usage "shutdown".

Xuri,
This is a fabulous idea and congratulations on being selected for GSoC!
Personally, I would find this functionality very helpful.
Have you received any feedback, and are you still looking for more?
Also, if you have not already, I would highly recommend you coordinate with

beginner SQL book, which uses pgAdmin, is publishing in April and we are in
the final proofreads now.)

Hi, Dave,
I've been testing this on macOS High Sierra for a few days. Overall, very
positive feedback. The app seems fast, and I've experience no glitches yet.
One minor point:
In the desktop app, hovering the mouse over a cell of type "text" will show
a tool tip with all text in that cell (e.g.

No show-stoppers to report. Just to say that it looks great and loads fast.
Nice work!
Only stylistic item is that the column names in the result grid used to be
bold but are now the same weight as the data type.

Dave and all,
Out of curiosity (because I’m writing a book that includes pgAdmin screen
grabs), do you expect these icons to make it into your September release?
