Thank you so much for the interesting presentations of yesterday and thanks
for all presenters.
I look forward to watching the presentation again on web!
I'm also glad to joining to this group!
I'm a book conservator and I just stated recently to be involved to the IPM
project for the library.

Hi, everybody
I saw geckos in several traps in the library where I've been doing the
monitoring since May.
I'm wondering if there is a way to avoid entering geckos or is there any
type of trap which the gecko can't enter?
I appreciate you kindly advise.

Hi Katey
Thank you so much for your advice.
It's a good idea to put the door!
I'll try it.
We have triangle traps and our targets of monitoring are especially
silverfish and also some beetle, booklice.
Is it ok to leave some mm of space on the bottom? Maybe 5mm? 3mm?
I really appreciate it!
Best
Thank you so much indeed for all for the precious advices for geckos!
I really appreciate so kindly reactions in this group!
I will talk to the library staff and make some prototypes with door and
hardware cloth.
Unfortunately when I fount them, the geckos are already without
life...
Its good
I would like to thank for the precious advices for gecko.
Yesterday I've found one alive in the trap so as the suggestion, I used
vegetable oil (olive oil) and little by little, the young gecko was
detached from the adhesive sheet and run away.
Thank you so much for advice!!
best wishes

Hi all,
Thank you always for your kind help.
This species is always found this time of year here in Italy.
I was looking for the correct name and I wonder if it is Balaustium
murorum? or Trombidiidae? Even if they are not pest...
Thanks
