To me, this looks like one of the Nepticulidae. The larvae are mostly
leaf-miners (on living plants), and are not a threat to collections.

And Possibly answering my own query. at first I was thinking it would
not be rodent droppings due to the small size. But, since it was wet, possibly
baby mice?
