delete_subfield available in CPAN ?

Hi there has been a good suggestion in May-June, 2006 which was quickly designed and proposed on MARC::Record cvs : delete_subfield. This function is really helpful to me. And I found that it had not yet reached CPAN. Why is it not in CPAN ? Will CPAN get updated soon ? Many Thanks for your good
