I'm using Activstateperl 5.8.0 on Win2000 and it doesn't crash. It opens the empty window and allows typing. After closing the window I need to interrupt the program to stop it. Sorry, I don't know much about Tk. Its not Tk - Win32::GUI:) What version are you using? Cheers, jez. -- No vir
