I vote for adding the XP style request directly to perl.exe - in almost all cases it's the "correct" thing to do and is easy enough to remove (and indeed from PerlApp) should you need to. It's also backward compatible so it wont harm Win 2000 users etc. Cheers, Jeremy. From: j...@activestate.co
