that is good article how to use API but what about a description of each field
in kstat? I googled a lot of useless articles with just performing kstat+args
and kstat-response but nothing about description or how people use it to
analyze/tuning performance. There is a quick explanation
I'm looking to buy inexpensive and reliable SAS JBOD (to be used mostly with
SATA drives) + SAS RAID controller w/ external ports that both works well under
Solaris (at least x86 - 64bit). High sequential read performance is VERY
important.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
