Sorry, you cannot connect a D or DS to a W98 computer. You can connect a card
reader and transfer your files that way.
The DS software will, I believe, also not work under W 98.

I am just becoming acquainted with CS Raw. I was surprised to see that it
offers me the option to set dpi at the conversion stage. It's default is 240,
which won't do. What do the rest of you use? Can you set it up to the dpi

Shaun, I tried it last night on my *ist D. It worked flawlessly and there were no
problems with the camera. An added bonus was that the TTL exposures seemed good (but
that is only judging from the lcd screen -- I haven't loaded the images onto the
computer yet).

released so many major products in such a short time. We've had 3 new

Does anyone else who has this lens notice pronounced edge and corner softness
at longer focal lengths? I notice it above 40 mm. or so. It is easiest to see
if you enlarge the image. The lens performs much better in the corners at
shorter focal lengths.

My K20D came back yesterday. It appears that to correct the sensor problem
Pentax just replaced all or most of the electronics. When I turned it on, it
started up with the initial menu, asking for language, location, time. Then I
had to go into the menus and set all my preferences again. Now I g
