I printed it out, cut it out, and assembled. My daughter, a kindergarten
teacher, asked me what I was doing. I replied that I was working on Pentax
Paper Doll cutouts. So, she proceeds to show me Canon Paper doll cutouts on

I got a question.
I tend to use the Ilford papers and the Costco Glossy 95% of the time, but
have used others like the Museo. I have seldom had a problem getting a good
print, but I always use the settings to make the software set the print
requirements, not the printer, other than setting a pap

I am not totally sure but I believe a hot pixel will render white and a dead
pixel will render black.
As far as dust, most dust spots will cover more than one pixel and tend to
show as oof blobs, sometimes quite large. That is where the blower bulbs are
really handy.

Well, at least they are doing something with the gallery. I had submitted 11
photos that were all tenatively accepted. This AM they show 6 in the
Gallery, 1 in the Collection, 3 on hold, and 1 Declined.
The declined shot was shot with a 135 SMC-M lens but they did not have a 135
in the selection

It is 10 mpxl, has a zoom lens, and is Leica branded. Huge LCD panel and

That was straight Dektol, no dilution. However, we found that by diluting
1:1 and 1:2, and then playing with the times only slightly, the results
would be a little better. If I remember correctly, at 1:2 and 80 degrees F,
the time was about 1:15 followed by stop and rinse.

I need a macro lens. Don't want to spend the bucks for the latest Pentax AF,
for that matter I think I would prefer a MF version. KEH has some 100mm f/4
in different versions, one being an A model. They also have a Sigma 90mm

I bought a Gateway laptop yesterday at a good price I believe. It is the
smaller 14" screen version, which I wanted. 1 gig ram, 120 gig HD, wireless,
etc. Today I picked up a wireless mouse and proceeded to take all the crap
off! I downloaded the patch and installed PSE 5.
Other than firing the shutter what else can it do. Do you have total remote
access to the menus, can you switch modes(doubt that), etc?

I find it difficult to really determine how sharp the resolution/contrast is
on web images, especially at only 700 or 800 pixels. They all looked "good"
to me, but that doesn't necessarily put them in the same league as modern
DA* lenses. :-)

Igor, the K10D can be set to either +/- .5 or .33 stop variations. So,
depending on how you set it up in the menu it would be controlled in that
manner.

I uploaded two more recent shots. The flower and the bee (Spring Bee) and
the couple in the Corvette. Someone suggested the Corvette in the Lifestyles
Gallery, which I did.
It was rejected, but the flower/bee was accepted. Go figure. They must have
