I don't want an IS-Lens from Pentax!

Hi all, i hope Pentax will never made a Lens with an Image Stabilizer! If Pentax don't make a Lens with IS the chance is big that the next ist-D have an IS-Chip like the Minolta A1 so all my Pentax-Lenses have IS ;-)! What do you think? Best Regards Rolf

Be careful! If i remember right only the extension tube with 25mm supports AF all others (especially the one with 12mm which i miss most) are called AF but you have still to focus manual (Maybe the change this in the last 3 Years but before you order you should go for sure) Regards Rolf

Best Portrait-Lens for ist-D?

Hi all, what do you think is the best portraitlens (with AF) for the ist-D? Should i keep my Pentax-F 50mm 1:1.7 or should i go for the Pentax-FA 50mm 1:1.4? I don't wanna use my 85mm lenses (FA and A) on the ist-D for Portraits because you are too far away from the person (on 35mm i never use 13

First i was very happy with that lens - a real WW for DSLR but after nearly half a year with that lens i don't like it anymore. I never had the impression of real sharpness with that lens even stopped down to 11 and its quite huge. Regards Rolf
