body. The point of the grip for the *istD is that you double your shoot
time. I can see why you like the extra stability of something more
firmly clamped, but I prefer this way.

The istD grip doesn't have any batteries integral. It takes 4 AAs just
like the body. These last the same as the ones in the body. If you
have both (first Pentax grip where you can keep the batts in the body?)

Me too. Way I read it, he is saying that digital will get there, but
that it has a looong way to go - which is in total contrast with what
the marketing machines tell us!
