to Leica´s. That is not the case, Leica is the most expensive by a wide margin and my
list of the cameras and prices was presented to emphasise this.

So Pentax LX and Olympus OM-2 were the only professional cameras in the world?
Actually OTF has bad points as well as good ones, probably more bad ones because it
never caught on with other manufacturers. And there was the entry level OM-10.

In the Chasseur d´Images test in 2000 even the Pentax MZ-30 managed 145305 shutter
cycles so PZ-1 series must do better.

Which one? The Pentax 645 had a non-interchangeable viewfinder from the beginning.

3.5-4.5/24-90 mm any time. 24 is an extremely useful focal length and the quality is
outstanding.

In which way is the 4/28-70 "essentially" same as 2.8/28-70. And which kind of macro
feature the former has? Mine did not have any IIRC. The 4.0/28-70 is one very good
lens.

No, it was not a Zeiss trademark. But the way it was conceived is probably the way you
describe it - according to Dario Bonazza´s book.

Praktica was originally made by Kamera Werkstatten at first in Dresden, then in
Niedersedlitz (wherever that may be) - Pentacon was formed later in 1964 by joining
together several (five?) East German state-owned camera manufacturers, from 1959 under
the name of VEB Kamera und Kinowerke Dresden.
