If it was possible, an Australian could probably perfect it. We're like

I presume you are going to use this lens with bellows for macro work? You
would probably be better off just using the 50 mm and bellows. A 2x
teleconverter will turn your 50 mm lens into a 100 mm lens but it will not
be a macro and the image quality will inevitably decline. It is the flat

Has anyone had any hands on experience with the Makinon 300mm f4? What would
one in good condition be worth ($US)?

Does anyone have any 'hands on' experience with the Sigma 70-210 f3.5-4.5
APO. I am interested in evaluations of resolution at the long end, opinions
of general capability of the lens, etc. Thanks.

mount. Cost was the equivalent of $78 US. It appears to be in perfect
condition. I am just waiting on a bayonet adapter so I can use it. The only
info I could find on the web says it is sharp.

It is hardly necessary to say what a terrible event the world has witnessed
in the United States. I can understand the reaction of those who would like

I have an original promotional brochure that Pentax used with the MX. It
explains that mirror lock up was not provided because the MX has an
air-damped mirror shock absorption system that reduces the vibrations to a
level below what might normally be expected. They provide a vibration

The only thing I would add to the other advice is that I dismantle the
little "spring clip thingy" and use the adapter without it. I find that the
friction holding the adapter to the lens is greater than that between the
adapter and the camera body, so the adapter stays on the lens and de
t has the edge.
