You might want to consider buying a small power inverter. It'll take a
DC wave and turn it into a square wave (IIRC). You can get them in many
sizes/shapes, and they basically just plug into the socket in your car,
and then have a wall jack style plug on the other end into which you can
plug

LX seems to be a fairly popular "phrase" to be used by companies for
products. I can't rattle off a list right now (brain is half-dead), but
I know I've seen cars and various other things with descriptors of "LX".
I think they think it stands for luxury.
