Filters for FA 24-90?

Hi ya'll, I am eagerly awaiting my new FA 24-90, should be here tomorrow! Just wondering if anyone has had problems w/ using regular filters w/ the WA end of the lens OR if I need to invest in the *thin* profile filters. Thanks group! John Lingelbach
