This magazine arrives to Barcelona and I buy it frequently, despite they don't
seem to be Pentax fans, so to say. Even considering this, they are far better

outdated models, if you can consider it a test...).
So they te
So, "difficult to fault" but they managed to give only 4 stars, as they did
with the other Pentax DSLRs tested (D, Ds and K100D IIRC).
The message is clear: "this camera is good enough for the existing Pentax
users. However, if this is not the case, you'll better look somewhere else (to

I think that you refer to the Fuji F30, that it is supposed to be the best
compact regarding high ISO performance.
The Canon PowerShot A series are also a good value, with lots of manual
settings (A710IS, A640...).

But these Canon Selphy printers only print 10x15 (4x6), don't they?
I have seen one in action and I wasn't too impressed...'horses for courses' is

For this size I would print in a lab. There are always good prices and discount

Do you have a film camera available to check if you can see any vignetting? (at

I've heard that the DA40 doesn't show any...

Thanks to all for your interesting insights. It seems to me that:
- Pentax seems firmly committed to 16x24 format, although these digital days
are difficult to predict (we seem to have already forgotten the Hoya merger and
its possible implications).
- Yes, If they ever decide to go 24x36, they

Hi,
I recently acquired a Pentax Optio W20 (whose performance has positively
surprised me BTW). There is a Pentax accessory that I think would improve its
handling and protection which is a called 'skin'.
Unfortunately, I can't find it in stock anywhere and the only seller offering
it on ebay
