I use my Sekonic L-358 quite a bit, and before that I used my Sekonic Studio
Deluxe L-398. I still carry it around, as a backup.
My appreciation of meters really grew when I realized I should really use an
incident meter, when possible...

As has been mentioned before, this is most probably due to weak batteries.
There is a feature of blinking leds when the batteries are getting weak. I
only recall seeing this on a couple of my five LXen. The other times there
was no warning.

I woudl think that I am a 3a. I use the *ist D extensively but have used my
LXen since getting it.
I still plan on shooting my 35mm and my medium format along with the DLSR
and Optio S. Everything has its place.
My international travel will see me taking film and not being concerned with

hope. If I don't get around to it please remind me.
Maybe the Screwmounts will join me on the next trip.
