Thanks Bill I did that but all it gave me were different versions of the
tripod head, I ll try it with a loser grab, i did have some success with
the remove tool

Yeah I finally had to bite the bullet and replace my cheesegrater Mac
Pro when I could no longer keep it current enough to handle the OS
updates. Don't recall having the artifact issue, though.

If by "cheesegrater" you mean a 5,1 rath
Man, I must have had beginners luck with that. I went in and tried again
with the method I used the first time and got about a dozen failures in
a row.
So, I tried using the brush tool to paint in the tripod head so that
Photoshop had a blank slate to work with and that seemed to work better.
