The shot requires a macro as shown. I ?The snowdrop is the size of a
fingernail. My lens is only a couple oof inches away. The way to nail it would
be by focus stacking at f4 or so.But I don’t have time or energy for that.

having been buried under snow and leaves.
I don't know how many versions there were. But the first one, which is
generally considered the best, is very heavy and is of thick metal

Thanks for the comments Ann. It's interesting you chose a different
one. I'd more or less decided the background in that last one was a
bit distracting, though I was happy with the foreground. I was lucky
with the raindrops.
