Details... It's the most common Marmelade Fly (Episyrphus balteatus).
I was on safari in my backyard with the F100/2.8. The F100 fully
extended (1:1) and a ringflash fitted. The ringflash is fully manual.
The ringflash always fires at max power resulting in pitch black
backgrounds.
WOOO Seriously one of the best bug shots I've seen on the PDML & there
have been quite a few great bug shots.
