That came out well! Terns are rare here in Limpopo Lowveld, 200Km
inland, but they do occasionally make excursions up the major rivers.

Yes, common tern is correct. Bokeh is difficult in this case. A pentax 560
would be better but my wallet and back don't agree.
This coolpix is 900 grams and 2000mm range.

My bird ID app says it’s a common tern and chick, whose range is pretty much
the whole Northern Hemisphere.
