400/5.6 written on it... Thank you... Now will you please sit still
while I take my aim...
I appreciate your cooperation ;-).

As a matter of fact, I thought of going to the Freedom Island (is
that the correct name?) but the weather did not permit that...
What do you want to go to Guantanamo for?

I lived there for 16 years and had never taken that ferry ride. It took
coming back as a tourist to see the statue of liberty, *and* a broadway

Hi!
I just finished compiling some snapshots from a day-trip to NYC. Here are
a few snapshots I managed from atop a moving tour bus, and on the ferry to
ellis & liberty islands.

As almost everyone else has said, that "Taxi Exchange" shot is
brilliant. Kind of Theriaultean (in a *good* way ) except that it's
in color - which really works for this shot.
Great stuff.

Hi Jerome,
Enjoyed your image gallery from NY. Being from the country it is interesting
to see some views from the "other side". Nice place to visit, don't think I
would want to live there. Congratulations to Cynthia.

Nah... just a very refined sense of post-production cropping . My motto
for that trip was: If you shoot it wide enough, you might be able to crop
*something* decent out of it . I think I've been doing that a bit too
