Don't know how good the Pentax is but I have three Vivitar/Kiron 28/2
lenses and all quite different. All had sticky diaphragms which were
easily fixed and so came quite cheap.
First is soft but usable at f2, cleans up nicely at 2.8 and is quite good
through the range.
Second is worse at f2 and ne

So panning with SR on works? I think Pentax recommends turning it off when
panning.

La Crosse charger highly recommended.
I read the La Crosse delivers a more reliable charge at 500-700ma as it can
do a better job of detecting the cut off point. I was having some flaky
battery problems at 200ma which vanished when I upped the charge rate.
700ma is still well below the safe charg
Have you run a nozzle check? A plugged cyan nozzle could be the problem.

Accidentally deleted images from my SD card.
Lessons:
Do not leave card with images in the camera for a week.
Turn on brain before playing with camera.
Fortunately no important images, or they wouldn't have been left in the
camera so long. Only one that I would like to have back. I've been
