Are you shooting in adobe RGB? Try going Image -> Mode -> Convert to
profile then select sRGB as the destination before saving for web.

Would anyone be interested if I were to put together a little page
detailing how I have fiddled around and made it so I can right click on
a folder full of *ist D raw files in explorer, select 'halfsize' and the
resultant jpegs are then moved to a folder of my choice for easy browsing?
